If there was one thing that Jan hated, it was having her photo taken. If you tried to take her picture she would, almost every time, turn away before you got it. I never understood why, and it wasn't until she passed away, and I needed photos for her memorial service, that I realized just how small our photographic record of her really was. We have boxes of photos and gigabytes of digital pics but virtually no nice photos of her. It saddens me that the photos below are some of the better ones we have.
